Me, Myself and I

I played the doppelganger game again today. You know, when you type your name into Google and see what comes up. Though probably a bit overwhelming for the Mary Smiths of the world, for those of us with somewhat more exotic names it's lots of fun. Believe it or not, there are at least five other people in the world with the same name as me, and two of them are right here in DC! One was the editor of the paper at Carleton College, and the other is a lawyer. She only sort of counts because she married into the name, but who can blame her? We Metzlers are intelligent, wonderful, attractive people. The others include a graduate of Manhattan College, a high school student in Florida and my personal favorite, a car-racing physicist at Cornell. This is him:

Just imagine! He and I could get married and have a son and a daughter and name them both Meredith. It would make for lots of fun whenever someone called the house. Tricky to sort out the mail though.
